Changes that may affect your visit

The health and safety of visitors, employees and all Canadians is of the utmost importance to Parks Canada. As of March 21, 2022, following direction from the Province of Nova Scotia, masks are no longer required for visitors, but wearing one in indoor public places or crowded outdoor places is strongly recommended. Parks Canada staff will continue to wear masks. Physical distancing is still recommended. Proof of vaccination is no longer required to enter all Nova Scotia national historic sites and Parks Canada organized events and experiences as of February 28, 2022. Parks Canada will continue to follow the advice of public health experts and guidelines outlined by the Province.
