Outfitters and tour companies
Guides, outfitters and tour companies are required to have a current national park business license to take visitors into the park. Always check with Auyuittuq National Park staff to ensure your operator is licensed before booking your trip.
Your group should have advanced skills in wilderness first aid and be prepared to handle any medical, wildlife or weather related emergency. If someone in your group is uncertain about their skill level, consider travelling with an experienced guide, outfitter or tour company.
Local outfitters
Transportation to and from Auyuittuq National Park from Pangnirtung or Qikiqtarjuaq can be arranged with a licensed outfitter. Outfitters, who typically provide transportation only, will take you to and from the national park by boat or snowmobile depending on the season and your request.
