The exhibition provides visitors with the historical context of the Battle of the Châteauguay and its key participants, including Charles-Michel de Salaberry and the unknown heroes. A digital terminal will allow you to discover interesting information about this group of heroic fighters: their age, their profession, their size, their origin, etc.

This indoor lookout provides an exceptional view of the battlefield! Using an interactive scale model, the interpreters enhance this panoramic tour by revealing the key strategies used during the confrontation that took place along the Châteauguay River on October 26, 1813. Take this opportunity to admire the obelisk and the area's scenery!

Not far from the Interpretation Centre, you can admire a monument commemorating the Battle of the Châteauguay, erected in 1895 by the Canadian Parliament.

There is also a shaded picnic area where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch while admiring the beauty of the Châteauguay River!

While you are there, take a look at the architecture of the period log cabin!
