The Ôasis accommodations are closed for maintenance until further notice.

Looking for a cool place to stay? Parks Canada now offers the Ôasis in a few select national parks. The Kouchibouguac National Park Ôasis is located at the Côte-à-Fabien Campground.

What to Bring

  • Sleeping bags, blankets and pillows
  • Food and water
  • Camp stove for outdoor cooking
  • Cooking gear, eating utensils, dishes and a cooler
  • Slippers or indoor shoes - the first rule of keeping a clean Ôasis is to remove outdoor footwear
  • Lantern or flashlight

What We Offer

Inside the Ôasis

  • 1 platform bed with mattresses
  • The platform bed transforms into a table with benches in the day time
  • 1 wood ladder to climb to the loft hammock (less than 160 kg)
  • 1 broom and 1 dustpan
  • 1 fire extinguisher
  • 1 carbon monoxide/smoke detector
  • Solar lighting
  • USB ports
  • The Ôasis can accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids (less than 160 kg for both kids)
  • The Ôasis is propane heated

Outside the Ôasis

  • A picnic table
  • Two deck chairs
  • A fire pit
  • A barbecue

  • A public telephone (at the entrance kiosk)

Notice

  • Smoking or vaping is NOT permitted in the Ôasis
  • Pets are NOT allowed
  • For safety reasons, cooking is NOT allowed inside the Ôasis.
  • The Ôasis must be cleaned prior to departure
  • Coolers must be stored inside vehicles to avoid any conflicts with wildlife
