Infrastructure program
Gros Morne National Park
What you need to know before you visit
Parks Canada is investing $3 billion dollars over 5 years to support infrastructure work to heritage, visitor, waterway and highway assets located within national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas across Canada. These investments represent the largest federal infrastructure plan in the history of Parks Canada.
This historic investment supports conservation while promoting visitor experience and making our infrastructure safer and more appealing to visitors.
When visiting Gros Morne National Park, you may encounter one or more work zones or reduced services while we complete this important work.
- Plan ahead before you travel to avoid inconvenience;
- Consult the list of current infrastructure projects in Gros Morne National Park located at the bottom or on the left column of this page;
- Plan your travel route accordingly.
Thank you for your patience as we work hard to renew roads, bridges, and visitor facilities in Gros Morne National Park. New projects will be added as information becomes available.
