Prime Minister announces new Ministry
Dear colleagues,
On May 13, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the members of Canada’s new Ministry.
Parks Canada will continue to be part the Canadian Identity and Culture portfolio, reporting to the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages. In this role, he will also remain the Minister responsible for Parks Canada. He is supported by the Honourable Nathalie Provost, Secretary of State (Nature).
Our commitment to conservation, heritage protection, Indigenous stewardship, and providing outstanding visitor experiences remains. I look forward to supporting Minister Guilbeault and Secretary of State Provost in their roles as we deliver on our mandate in the service of Canadians.
As we prepare for the opening of the operating season this weekend, I am pleased to recognize the energy and dedication that each of you bring to the team.
Thank you,
Ron Hallman
