A new round of collective bargaining

Dear colleagues,

I am writing to inform you that Parks Canada will be entering into a new round of collective bargaining with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). The first collective bargaining session is scheduled on January 28 and 29, 2026.

Parks Canada will negotiate in good faith with the representatives of your union, who have been chosen to represent your interests at the bargaining table. I anticipate a productive round of negotiations leading to a renewed collective agreement that is consistent with the Government of Canada's direction and fair to both Parks Canada employees and Canadian taxpayers.
