Launch of the 2026 Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign

Dear colleagues,

Today marks the official launch of our 2026 Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC) at Parks Canada. As your Co-Champions, we are honoured to lead this important initiative and invite you to support a cause that strengthens communities and changes lives. As Canada’s largest workplace charitable campaign, the GCWCC makes a meaningful difference for individuals, families and communities across the country.

How to participate

Generosity is deeply personal and takes many forms. For some, it means making a payroll donation. For others, it may be volunteering time, organizing an event that brings colleagues together, purchasing a ticket to support a cause, or simply offering support to a co-worker who needs it.

Whether you are interested in advancing groundbreaking health research through HealthPartners, strengthening local support networks through United Way, or championing a small local registered Canadian charity that holds special meaning for you, this campaign offers meaningful ways to contribute in a manner that reflects your values.

Get involved today

  1. Visit the ParksNet campaign page to learn more about the GCWCC and how to participate.
  2. Contact your local campaign ambassadors to learn about activities being organized in your workplace.

Whatever form your generosity takes, thank you for being part of a caring and compassionate Parks Canada community. We are grateful for your support and inspired by what we can accomplish together in the days and weeks to come.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Rawan El-Komos
