Conclusion of the fourth session of collective bargaining
Dear colleagues,
Representatives from the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and Parks Canada concluded their fourth bargaining session on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Discussions resumed with a joint desire to clarify the key issues and better understand the respective positions of the parties. The PSAC bargaining team tabled additional demands to fill their book of proposals. The Parks Canada bargaining team will conduct a detailed analysis of these demands in preparation for the next sessions of bargaining.
Parks Canada remains committed to negotiating a fair and equitable collective agreement that considers the interests and realities of its workforce. Parks Canada is engaging in these discussions with the objective of supporting its long-term capacity to fulfill its mandate, while continuing to serve Canadians now and in the future. The parties will return to the bargaining table on December 2 and 3, 2026.
