Discover New and Updated CSPS Learning Products on Indigenous Realities
Colleagues,
Every day, public servants make decisions, develop policies, design programs, and deliver services that affect Indigenous peoples and communities.
As Champion for Parks Canada’s Indigenous Employee Community Network, I would like to share that the Canada School of Public Service has recently enhanced its Indigenous Learning curriculum by extensively updating some learning products and publishing new ones that reflect current realities, deepen understanding of Indigenous realities, and help build a more informed and inclusive public service (see below). As we continue to advance our Indigenous cultural learning program here at Parks Canada, I encourage you to also take part in the CSPS’s learning opportunities to foster greater awareness, appreciation and understanding.
I also encourage you to explore the Indigenous Stewardship Living & Learning Journey ParksNet page, which highlights practical ways to engage thoughtfully and respectfully with Indigenous stewardship principles in our day-to-day work, while strengthening cross-cultural relationships in the workplace and with Indigenous partners.
Respectfully,
Patrick Boucher
Champion, Indigenous Employee Community Network
