2025 Survey – Overview and key findings
- 422 students responded, which represented 31% of Parks Canada’s students.
- In 2024, 24% participated, and in 2023, 43% participated.
- Some of Parks Canada’s highest satisfaction ratings were with:
- The welcome received from the supervisor/manager & colleagues, and with a feeling of being part of the team.
- Overall work experience and feeling like their work contributed to their work unit.
- Areas where Parks Canada must continue to improve:
- The support (e.g., regular information, follow-up, making enquiries on my behalf, offering emergency or priority pay) to help resolve pay issues.
- Providing students with sufficient information throughout the employment process.
