    Join us for two action‑packed days of pony relay races at the Bar U Ranch rodeo arena. Races start at 2 pm.

    These races are fast, fun, and full of energy! Riders sprint bareback around the track, switching ponies at high speed and keeping the crowd on its feet.

    This event is hosted by The Horse Spirit Collective, a grassroots group based in Brocket, Alberta on the Piikani Nation reserve.

    The Collective’s work evokes a deep respect for equine spirit and traditional knowledge: they engage with horses not just as animals, but as spiritual partners; honouring ancestral ties and supporting community wellness.

    Watch 40 artists paint the ranch’s natural beauty, ask questions, and connect with the artists’ creative process. 

    Finished artworks will be on display in the visitor centre, until September 27, 2026.
