  • Stay on pathway. Ticks are present in the brush and grass.

Drones

All Parks Canada places are "no drone zones" for recreational use. Please leave your drone at home. Use of drones at Parks Canada places

Metal detectors

It is prohibited to use a metal detector within Melanson Settlement National Historic Site.

Pets

Only pets on a leash are permitted on the grounds.

Smoking

Smoking is restricted to the parking area.

Vehicles

Respect vehicle circulation patterns.

No camping

Camping is not permitted at Melanson Settlement National Historic Site.

There is camping nearby at Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site.
