  • Fort Malden Living History Festival

    Location(s): Fort Malden National Historic Site
    Cost: $5.75 per person

    Dates: 10 am to 5 pm, August 1 and 2, 2026

    Watch as history comes alive with the sights, smells and sounds of history.

    Visit period encampments as re-enactors and volunteers recreate the lifestyles of several different time periods. 

    Experience live cooking demonstrations, musical performances, featured talks and historic weapons demonstrations that will blow you away!

  • Murder Mystery

    Cost: $20.25

    Channel your inner detective as you help uncover a murderer in a classic “whodunnit?” with an historical twist! 

    Explore the Fort to uncover clues and interview suspects with hopes of finding the guilty party. Prizes to be awarded for some, and fun to be had by all!

  • Art by the River

    Fort Malden will be closed for third-party event Art by the River August 29 to 30, 2026. 

    For more information, visit the Gibson Art Gallery website. 

    Presented by the Fort Malden Guild of Arts and Crafts.

    Please note the fort will be closed on Friday, August 28 to set up for this event.

  • Fort Malden by Candlelight

    Cost: $33 per person

    Dates: Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24

    Time: Tours available at 7 pm and 8 pm both days 

    Explore candle-lit buildings and listen to stories of the soldiers who lived at Fort Malden over 200 years ago.
