Whether you are captivated by Anne or want to get a little closer to the house’s finer details, we offer engaging experiences to bring you even more intimately into the world of Anne of Green Gables and of beloved author L.M. Montgomery.

Heritage Animation

Meet the townspeople of old Cavendish and discover everyday Island traditions through demonstrations of heritage gardening, yarn and thread crafts, and other practical skills from the past.

Guided Tour

Discover the literary life of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Walk in her footsteps as you explore the setting that inspired Anne of Green Gables.

Songs & Stories

Tap your toes! Enjoy lively Maritime tunes and tales at a Green Gables ceilidh. Clap along, soak in the music, and experience the storytelling traditions that have filled island kitchens for generations. Ask staff what’s in store.

Ready, set, play! Join Anne and her friends for old-fashioned fun with lively games and friendly races. Test your skills, share some laughs, and enjoy a spirited afternoon. Ask Green Gables staff for details.
