Would you like to know how French soldiers lived in the 18th century? Now's your chance! The Compagnie de Lacorne (website in French only) will be visiting Fort Chambly National Historic Site on the weekend of May 23 and 24, 2026. They will also return to the fort on August 29 and 30, 2026.

Throughout the day, characters will reenact scenes from the lives of soldiers in the Compagnies franches de la Marine as they move around the fort. Have fun following them in the park, the open courtyard, and the Jacques-de-Chambly hall, and interacting with them! Who knows, you might even see them standing guard in front of the fort!

During your visit, you can also explore the fort and its exhibits.

Admission fees apply.
