Fur trade tour
Activities:
- Tour of an old traditional warehouse which is the only place in Montreal dedicated to the theme of furs.
- Introduction to the roles and adventures of Indigenous trappers, French-Canadian voyageurs and European merchants in the era of the fur trade.
- Presentation of the story of the arduous canoe trip to the West and trade between Europeans and First Nations.
Target audience: adults and youth aged 12 to 17
Languages: English and French
Length: 60 minutes
Period: April to November
