ACTIVITIES RESTRICTED: Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations the following area is hereby closed and restricted to authorized personnel only by order of the Superintendent, Elk Island National Park.

WHERE: Picnic Shelter #4 and area including portions of Lakeview Trail.

WHY: Unsafe conditions due to damaged picnic shelter.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
