Activities restricted: 
Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following area is closed and restricted to authorized personnel only by order of the Superintendent, Elk Island National Park:

Where: 
Hay meadows, south-east of the bison loop towards Highway 16, and Mud Lake meadow and parking lot.

Why: 
To prevent disturbance to wildlife during calving season.
