Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following area is closed and restricted to authorized personnel only by order of the Superintendent, Elk Island NP:

Where:
Outlet bay in north-west corner of Astotin Lake, up to the high water mark

Why:
To prevent disturbance to wildlife during nesting season
