Pursuant to Section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following activities are hereby prohibited by order of the Superintendent, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve of Canada:

Camping for period exceeding fourteen (14) days in a calendar year at any one of the following campgrounds:

SMONEĆTEN (Vancouver Is); Prior Centennial (Pender Is); Sidney Spit (Sidney Is); Narvaez Bay (Saturna Is); Shingle Bay (Pender Is); D'Arcy Island; Isle-de-Lis/Rum Island; Shell Beach, Princess Bay and Arbutus Point (Portland Is); and James Bay (Prevost Is).

This restriction helps to give an equal chance to all visitors to come and enjoy the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. This notice becomes effective on the date of signature.
