Radium Hot Springs

Canada Strong Pass

Free admission and 25% off camping and overnight stays with Parks Canada is in effect from:

  • December 12, 2025 to January 15, 2026
  • June 19 to September 7, 2026

Regular fees still apply for experiences and services not covered by a national park pass, such as pool admission at the Radium Hot Springs.

Located to the south of Kootenay National Park, nestled in the dramatic Sinclair Canyon, lies one of British Columbia’s most scenic natural hot springs. Whether it's soaking in the natural and odourless mineral water or cooling off in the deep swimming pool, this National Historic site offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature.

The hot pool water temperature is kept between 37°C and 40°C (98°F and 104°F). The top five minerals found at Radium Hot Springs are Sulphate (302 mg/l), Calcium (135 mg/l), Bicarbonate (100.8 mg/l), Silica (31.8 mg/l), and Magnesium (31.6 mg/l).

Radium Hot Springs’ Aquacourt is a Classified Federal Heritage Building Canadian Register of Historic Places because of its historical associations and its architectural and environmental values.
