WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the area defined in the map above, is temporarily closed to public access. 

WHERE: Refer to the map on this closure notice. The ʔapsčiik t̓ašii (multi-use pathway) within the closure zone remains open for through-use only; stopping is not permitted.

WHY: National Park Reserve co-management purposes – private cultural ceremony.

WHEN: From 10pm May 14, 2026, to 3pm May 15, 2026 (inclusive).

PENALTY:  Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25,000.
