The MacLaren Pond Medicine Trail, also known as M’pisun Awti’j, is a great place to learn about Mi’gmaq traditional knowledge of medicinal plants. Species such as jewelweed and wood sorrel can be found along the route.
It features a firm surface, rest areas, and sections designed to accommodate a range of mobility needs. A boardwalk leads to two lookouts overlooking the peaceful waters of MacLaren Pond.
