Are you curious by nature? So are we! 

Description of the activities

Our park guides know this every corner of land's end like the back of their hand. Let them guide you on a hike, ask them questions about the plants and animals, listen to their tales of legendary fishing trips, and discover with them the hidden treasures of Forillon’s natural and cultural heritage. 

Activities are offered in French. English-speaking visitors are welcome to discuss with the interpreters during  

The activities will take place from June 26 to August 21, 2026, come rain or shine.

Guided hike in the beaver pond area

Are you interested in biodiversity? Discover it in all its splendour and complexity as you explore the habitats around the beaver ponds with a nature guide. Enjoy this invigorating walk in the great outdoors along the Le Ruisseau trail and, at the same time, learn all about the rich ecosystems of Forillon National Park.

This activity is available to small groups of 10 participants.

Fees apply

Reservations are required at the park’s visitor centres (Penouille, Visitor information and discovery centre).
The path may be muddy in places. Make sure you wear suitable footwear!

Date Sunday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to noon

Location : Le Castor parking lot. Length: 4.5 km

Folklore et légendes (activity in French)

Our grandparents certainly knew how to celebrate! Join the interpreters for a family event where lively rhythms and stories take centre stage. Meet at the Blanchette barn. The event lasts 45 minutes

Date Sundays and Wednesdays at 2 p.m.

Tous à la besogne (15 minute capsule)

Pop round to the Blanchettes’ and listen to the story of this family of fishermen and farmers from the tip of Forillon in the early 20th century. Find out how they made the world’s best ‘dried cod’!

Naturally curious 

Are you naturally curious and enjoy sharing your discoveries with others? Come and meet the nature interpreters near your campsite in Petit-Gaspé or Des-Rosiers campgrounds. Their knowledge of the park – covering both nature and culture – will amaze you!

Date Monday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Location : Des-Rosiers campground (service building of loop B2)

Date Tuesday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Location : Petit-Gaspé campground (service building of loop B-D)

Demi-de-ligne recherché (activity in French)

Xavier Blanchette’s son is looking to hire an assistant fishermen for the season. Come and learn the trade with him as he prepares for his cod fishing day. The activity lasts around 45 minutes.

An interpreter welcomes you to explore the Cape Bon-Ami area, a bustling hub at the crossroads of marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Here, you’ll have a front-row seat to a spectacular display of cliffs and sea!
