Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park

The Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park is a protected marine area spanning 1,245 km2 that encompasses a portion of the St. Lawrence Estuary and the Saguenay Fjord. 

The Marine Park can be discovered any number of ways.

Visit any of Park’s Canada’s three interpretation centres for the thrill of observing whales from shore in the company of naturalist guides or participate in activities that focus on marine mammals and underwater life hiding in the St. Lawrence.

Saint-Fidèle Visitor Centre 

The Saint-Fidèle Visitor Centre is the Marine Park's main tourist information centre and provides information on what to do around the Marine Park and on the regulations governing activities at sea in the marine protected area.

Parks Canada interpretation centres

The Parks Canada interpretation and observation centres are located along Route 138 between Baie-Sainte-Catherine and Les Escoumins. Follow the brown signs.
