  • Artist Creating Art – Celebrate Dugua Day at Port-Royal

    Local artists will gather to create personal and imaginative artworks at the Habitation all week. Artwork created on site will be displayed at the Port-Royal Community Centre (across the street) culminating in a gallery presentation on June 18, Dugua Day.

  • Come celebrate Canada Day at Fort Anne and Port-Royal National Historic Sites!

    Fort Anne: 12 pm to 3 pm

    Engage all your senses — sing “O Canada” as you proudly watch the flag raised at Town Hall; join Parks Canada’s mascot, Parka the beaver, in the procession to the fort; enjoy a piece of cake; set out your blanket for a picnic and enjoy the musical entertainment. The Annapolis Basin Community Band will provide music, weather permitting. A fun-filled day for the whole family.

    Port-Royal: 1 pm to 3 pm

    The festivities continue in the afternoon at Port-Royal — Parks Canada’s first major reconstructed site! Enjoy a slice of cake and tour the oldest permanent European settlement north of Saint Augustine, Florida.

  • The Fort-to-Fort Experience

    Location(s): Fort Anne National Historic Site | Port-Royal National Historic Site

    Get ready for a fun challenge with the return of the Fort-to-Fort Experience! Walk, run or cycle the 25 km round-trip route from Fort Anne National Historic Site in Annapolis Royal to the Habitation at Port-Royal National Historic Site in Port-Royal. An optional return shuttle is available from Port-Royal if needed. This event will happen rain or shine.
