Carillon Canal National Historic Site
The Carillon Canal is located close to Highway 344 West in the village of Carillon (now Saint-André-d'Argenteuil), halfway between Montreal and Ottawa. A visit of the historic site includes the existing canal and the remains of the first two buildings.

Directions
The Carillon Canal runs along Route 344 West.
From Montréal:
Take Highway 40 west, Pointe-Fortune exit.
Take the ferry to Carillon and follow Route 344 West to the lock.
From Highway 13 or 15 North:
Take Highway 640 West and follow the signs for Route 344 West to Carillon.

The national historic site is open every day of the year from sunrise to 11 p.m..

Site access is free. Otherwise, there are fees for locking and overnight mooring. Daily access and season permits are offered.
