Parks Canada's Learn-to Camp team is pleased to join École en réseau (in french only) in bringing a series of free virtual workshops to classrooms across the country throughout the school year.

Tracking Wildlife – January 8, 2025
In this interactive activity, Parks Canada's Learn-to Camp team will provide you with some tips and tricks to help you better identify the footprints, scat and other tracks left by winter wildlife. Are you ready for a little hike in the woods?

Learn-to Bird – April 16, 2025
Join us for an exciting birdwatching workshop! With the Parks Canada guides, you will discover the natural habitats of different bird species and learn to identify them using clues you can see and hear.
During this workshop, you will not only have the chance to admire beautiful bird species, but you will also discover their essential importance within ecosystems and how you can contribute to their protection. It is the perfect way to enjoy the splendor of nature and deepen your understanding of your environment.

Lachine Canal, cradle of industrialization – May 7, 2025
Called "Smokey Valley" by locals in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Lachine Canal today reveals its history. As a cornerstone of industrialization in Canada, this waterway played a central role in Montreal's urban development and economy until its closure in the late 1950s. Discover this incredible journey with the help of the Parks Canada team.
