During your visit to Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site, be sure to stop by the outdoor activity centre to watch Anishinaabe artisan Karl Chevrier from the Timiskaming First Nation at work and chat with him.
Throughout the summer, he will demonstrate his traditional craftsmanship by building a birch bark kayak before the amazed eyes of visitors.
