Come celebrate Canada Day at Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site!

From 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm: take photos dressed in period costumes in the photo booth and enjoy some cake and tea.

From 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm: enjoy a jazz concert performed by Parle Parle Jazz Jazz—a quartet featuring Abitibi musicians Benoît Lavergne, Francis Courtois, Joël Polard-Perron, and Jean-Philippe Rioux-Blanchette who blend popular songs, classics, and original compositions.

Please note:

  • The event will take place rain or shine.
  • The site is open from 10 am to 5 pm, but the festivities begin at 1 pm.
