You’ll have the chance to explore traditional techniques inspired by ancestral know-how and grounded in environmental respect. You will also take part in a moment of creation and sharing that encourages a meaningful reflection about respect, gratitude, and our relationship with nature while nurturing inspiration and a connection to the living world.

These workshops are made possible thanks to the support of the Government of Quebec and Amis du Vieux-Fort as part of the Cultural Development Agreement of Témiscamingue regional county municipality.

  • Reservations are required; call 819-629-3222 or contact Amis du Vieux-Fort on Messenger.
  • A second decorative wreath making workshop will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
  • A mini birchbark canoe workshop, with Karl Chevrier, will also take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
