The national historic site is open every day of the year from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional information

  • Transit time: 30 minutes
  • Please arrive at least 60 minutes before the last lockage. The floating docks are located on starboard (island side). 
  • Please take note that times of first and last lockages are not guaranteed. To maximize chances of being locked through, arrive early enough to allow complete lockages in both directions.

Opening hours of the Saint-Ours dam and fishway*

The Saint-Ours dam is now accessible to pedestrians and cyclists at all times during the operating season.

The fishway is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.*.

*Subject to change. Please consult the schedule posted at the entrance of the dam located on the Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu side for the most up-to-date information.
