17th Annual Kejimkujik Dark Sky Weekend!

Head to Nova Scotia’s only Dark-Sky Preserve for a weekend of dark sky delights. Join the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) and Parks Canada to learn more about the stars, planets, and constellations in the night sky.

Did you know it takes 20 to 30 minutes for the human eye to adapt to the dark? Please use only a red light when joining us for night programs to protect your night vision and that of other visitors. 

Weather

- All programs will proceed if the skies are overcast but we will cancel programs if it’s raining.

Parking

- Parking at the Sky Circle is limited, so please walk to the Sky Circle.

- Day-use visitors: please park in parking lot P2 (Amphitheatre parking lot) and walk to the Sky Circle.
