Effective June 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.: Pine Lake Road is closed from Parson's Lake Road to Peace Point due to an active wildfire in the area. The closure includes all of Pine Lake including the Pine Lake Campground, Kettle Point Group Camp and the Pine Lake Rental Cabins.

You can get here by road year-round.

From Yellowknife

Travel south on Highway 3 for 338 km. Turn left onto Highway 1, and go 103 km to Enterprise. Turn left onto Highway 2 and go 25 km. Turn right onto Highway 5 and go 264 km to Fort Smith.

From Edmonton and High Level

Head north towards High Level, AB. From High Level, take Highway 35 to the Alberta-Northwest Territories border. Continue on the Mackenzie Highway/Highway 1 for 83 km to Enterprise. Turn right onto Highway 2 N and go 25 km. Turn right onto Highway 5 and travel 264 km through the park to Fort Smith.
