Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent.

For the purpose of this notice, the following sector is considered to be a closed area within the boundaries of La Mauricie National Park (see the map below):

• the "M" bridge and the section under it, at the Shewenegan Picnic Area

This closure is in effect since November 18, 2025 for an indefinite period of time.

Persons who do not comply with this notice may be subject to legal proceedings.
