Hours of operation

Waterton Lakes National Park is open year round.

Summer is our busiest season. If you plan to visit, especially in July and August, be sure to plan ahead.

Our visitor centre provides information and a number of services to help best plan your visit. Staff offer assistance with park information, maps, brochures, passes, and permits. You can also find up-to-date weather, avalanche, trail, and road conditions, as well as information on events and local amenities.

From November to April, most facilities in the townsite are closed. Heated washrooms and running water are available at Cameron Falls and inside the visitor centre.
