FORT SMITH, NT / FORT CHIPEWYAN, AB, April 1, 2026 — The winter road through Wood Buffalo National Park from Fort Smith to Fort Chipewyan will be closed for the season on April 2, 2026 at 8 a.m.

We would like to thank our staff who maintained the winter road for ensuring our safety during the winter season.
