La Mauricie National Park
Cycling on the Parkway
La Mauricie National Park is pleased to offer the Cycling on the Parkway special event on October 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 9 am to 2 pm. This event gives cyclists exclusive access to the entire Parkway after the seasonal closure of the road section from Lac Bouchard to the Saint-Mathieu entrance. Cyclist traffic during this event does not interfere with the park teams' operations in preparation for winter. The park facilitates active travel by offering cyclists a unique opportunity to enjoy a safe road, free of motor vehicle traffic from Lac Bouchard to the Saint-Mathieu entrance. The Parkway is 63 km in length, and is curvy, punctuated by ascents and descents and surrounded by magnificent, colourful fall landscapes.
The special event will take place rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of severe weather conditions.
