From September 11 to 13, La Mauricie National Park is proud to host the 19th edition of the event Les Défis du Parc, which offers road cycling, trail running, and walking challenges for both competitive athletes and recreational or contemplative sports enthusiasts, and for all age classes. Hosting a sporting event of this scale is the result of remarkable coordination work. The event is certified “eco-responsible, gold level” by the Fédération québécoise de sports cyclistes.

The events will take place on the hiking trails in the Rivière à la Pêche sector (Saint-Jean-des-Piles entrance), which will be accessible to visitors. They will also take place on the Parkway, which will be partially closed from Friday, September 11 at 9 pm until Saturday, September 12 at 6 pm approximately, between kilometers 6 and 62. The portion of the Parkway from the Saint-Mathieu entrance to the Mistagance Campground and the Shewenegan Picnic Area will be accessible to visitors.

The event will take place rain or shine.
