We offer daily tours led by expert interpreters that provide a deeper look at HMCS Haida’s history. Daily tours are an additional cost and can be booked at the Guardhouse upon your arrival. Dates: June 19, July 17, August 21 Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Max # of participants: 10 (ages 16+) This special tour, available by pre-booking only, offers a unique opportunity to explore areas of HMCS Haida that are typically off-limits to the public.

Disclaimer: The Behind the Scenes Tour involves navigating HMCS Haida National Historic Site via a series of hatches, narrow passageways, raised thresholds, and steep ladders. Be aware of deck surfaces that can be slippery when wet and watch out for low overhead clearance. This program may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions and mobility issues.
Participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes and must be 16 years of age or older. Dates : June 12, July 10, August 14 Time : 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Max # of participants: 5 (ages 16+) Embark on a unique adventure with our Enhanced Artillery Experience! This exclusive program provides participants with an in-depth historical and technical background on the 4” guns used aboard HMCS Haida during the Second World War and the Korean War. Purchase your timed ticket for the HMCS Haida Artillery Experience. Disclaimer: The HMCS Haida Artillery Experience involves loud noises and physical activity. It may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, hearing impairments, or mobility issues. All participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes, and all provided protective gear provided by Parks Canada, including hearing and eye protection. Only trained personnel are allowed to handle artillery equipment. Participants must not touch or operate any equipment unless explicitly instructed by staff. Failure to comply with staff instructions may result in the participants removal from the experience. This experience is only available for participants that are 16 years or older. Participants will navigate the ship via a series of hatches, narrow passageways, raised thresholds, and steep ladders.
