Notice – Angling prohibited in Chéticamp River

Effective immediately – until further notice

Pursuant to Section 35(1) of the National Parks of Canada Fishing Regulations and to provide for the continued protection and management of the natural resources of Cape Breton Highlands National Park; the Park Superintendent hereby authorizes the following restrictions to angling:

Due to low water level,
ANGLING PROHIBITED IN CHÉTICAMP RIVER
until further notice.

ALL portions of the Chéticamp River upstream from the park boundary at the Gulf of St. Lawrence are closed. All tributaries of the Chéticamp River are also closed, including Robert’s Brook.
