Georgian Bay Islands National Park
Since Georgian Bay Islands National Park is an island-based park, it offers excellent opportunities for the avid sailor or boater to enjoy beautiful Georgian Bay's clean waters and breathtaking scenery.
- Tobey Dock construction.
The major reconstruction of Tobey Dock has been completed and the dock will open for the season as of June 17, 2022.
- Yellow line enhancements.
Visitor safety is of the utmost importance for Parks Canada. Boaters and visitors to Beausoleil Island rely on emergency services including police, fire, paramedics and coast guard vessels. Yellow lines have been enhanced to provide space for emergency services to dock safely and securely. Thank you for your help keeping yellow lines free and clear at all times.
- Tonch South dock has been reopened.
- Bone Island dock is closed.
The core offer of the park is located on Beausoleil Island and as part of ongoing efforts to improve service that provide visitors with meaningful opportunities to connect with the natural heritage of the national park, the dock that was moored offshore at Bone Island has been removed. This dock did not connect to the island itself, and Parks Canada has no visitor services or visitor infrastructure on Bone Island.
Visitors with their own boats should obtain nautical map 2202, covering the eastern shoreline of Georgian Bay, before making their way to the park. These are available at most local marinas, hardware stores, sporting-goods stores or from:
Department of Fisheries and Oceans
1675 Russell Road
P.O. Box 8080
Dock are available on a first come, first serve basis.
