Hello,

I am pleased to share with you the Office of the Ombud Annual Report 2024-2025 for the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

This report includes a summary of our services, what the Office of the Ombud heard last year, and shares messages from some of the Employee Networks. We also used AI to develop cartoons to explain our services – please let us know what you think of these. We hope the report provides some insight into the work we do to support team members across the Agency and that it reflects some of the themes shared by people who reached out to us.

The stories shared with us during calls, coaching conversations and visits remind us that behind every policy and every project is a person—one who deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, empathy, and fairness. Thank you for the strength and vulnerability you show every time you speak up and for every action you take towards making Parks Canada a people-centered and inclusive organization. I look forward to continuing to connect and engage with as many Parks Canada team members as possible, at all levels, through the various Ombud events, visits, or during confidential discussions.
